JTI
Jung Type Indicator
A type-based personality assessment grounded in Carl Jung's Psychological Type theory — exploring natural preferences for how people engage with the world and interact with others.
Understanding Psychological Type
The JTI is based on Carl Jung's Psychological Type theory, which proposes that people differ in their natural preferences for how they engage with the world and interact with others.
Jung's theory describes several key dimensions of preference: Extraversion vs Introversion (EI), Thinking vs Feeling (TF), and Sensing vs Intuition (SN). A fourth dimension, Judging vs Perceiving (JP), reflects how individuals orient themselves to the external world.
Together, these four dimensions combine to form sixteen distinct personality types, each offering a unique lens on how individuals prefer to work, communicate and make decisions.
